My work is an examination of time. Through practices in self awareness, my perception of time is no longer linear, but instead a collection of mindful moments - recorded and measured in paint, sculpture, and repetitive phrases.
Since the beginning of the ‘unprecedented’, I have been studying myself, existing as both the subject and the researcher. I have found as I continuously investigate the topic of awareness - mental, emotional, and physical - I am able to reconnect to a deep-rooted stability and balance, allowing layers of trauma and tension to be acknowledged and eradicated.
My internal growth echos patterns from nature, an influential source of color palettes, shapes, and present-moment record keeping, and allows me to gain acceptance of my place in and with time.
I am merely a meatbody. I am and always will be throughout time - existing in past conflicts, future expiration, and only able to find guidance in the present.
